Vinod joined Tata Communications in April 2004, just when the company was embarking on its journey of international growth. He was closely associated with the acquisitions of the Tyco Global Network and Teleglobe and assumed responsibility as Managing Director of the Company’s international operations. Subsequently, he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer, responsible for managing the Global Data Business Unit as well as the Engineering and Operations functions. Vinod was also appointed as a non-executive director on the Board of Tata Communications Limited in February 2007. In February 2011, Vinod was appointed as the Managing Director and Group CEO of Tata Communications Limited.

With over 20 years of experience in the global telecom industry, Vinod has had an impressive track record in developing business strategies and creating fast growth organizations across the globe.
Prior to Tata Communications, he was a Senior Vice President with Asia Netcom from 2002-2004, and was responsible for strategy formulation, product marketing, sales and generating top-line growth. He was actively involved in the financial restructuring and eventual asset sale of Asia Global Crossing to China Netcom, resulting in the formation of Asia Netcom.
From 1999 to 2002, Vinod worked with WorldCom Japan as its Chief Executive Officer. Prior to this, he held various senior positions in Global One and Sprint International in the United States and Asia where he had major responsibilities in market management, sales, marketing, product management, multinational account management and operations.
Vinod is a Director of the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI) in Singapore. He was also a Director of the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and a member of its Investment Committee.
Vinod was born in 1965 and graduated with honours in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science in India.
Aadesh has over 25 years of experience in P&L Management, Human Resources, Operations, Information Technology, Corporate Communications and Program Management and has held global leadership roles in these functions across multiple geographies. He has also been involved in over a dozen M&As as well as playing a key role in the integration of these companies, spread across multiple countries.
Aadesh joined Tata Communications in February 2010 from PeopleStrong HR Services where he was the Chairman and CEO.
Prior to PeopleStrong HR Services, Aadesh was part of the start-up team of Aricent/Hughes Software Systems where he spent 16 years in a variety of roles including Global Head of HR, CEO of its BPO Business, Head of the Gurgaon centre and provided direction to IT and Corporate Communications functions. He was also a Director on the Board of this listed company.
Aadesh has a Master’s degree in Management Studies from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani in India. He has a passion for community service and has been an active volunteer with The Art of Living since 2000.
With over 20 years of experience in the global IT industry, Amit defines winning strategies for Tata Communications’ business, in both emerging and developed geographies. This entails delivering market insights for segmentation, targeting and positioning of key products and solutions.
In his current role, Amit is also responsible for the global partner programme designed to achieve specific business outcomes with a focus on engaging and enabling Systems Integrator partners for specific products and services.
Prior to Tata Communications, Amit was Head of Marketing, Cisco India & SAARC at Cisco India. He also held various senior marketing and strategy positions in Hewlett Packard, Syntel Inc. and Compaq India.
Amit has a Master of Science (Hons) degree in Physics and a Master of Management Studies from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) in Pilani, India.
Anthony has over 20 years of functional and general management experience in transformational, high growth environments, ranging from start‑ups to large cap public companies, spanning the telephony, wireless, data networking, RFID, P2P and social networking industries.
Prior to Tata Communications Anthony was at Avaya Communications, responsible for the company’s $2.5 billion Unified Communications and Contact Centre portfolios. As a leader of the company’s largest business units, Anthony was responsible for the 1400 product management, marketing, R&D, and operations employees who supported those portfolios.
Anthony’s previous roles include President and CEO of Skyrider Limited, a social networking start-up, and Vice President and General Manager of the Wireless Infrastructure and RFID Divisions for Symbol Technologies (acquired by Motorola). He has also held multiple senior leadership positions around the globe with Nortel Networks.
Anthony graduated with honors from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia with a Bachelor degree in Engineering (Honors). He has recently relocated to Singapore from Silicon Valley in California
Brian is responsible for leading global MES strategy to provide businesses with next generation managed services that drive the efficient production, management and distribution of digital media assets globally. As cloud, social and mobile technologies continue to shape the media and entertainment sector, his team is committed to empowering enterprises to capitalise on the new growth opportunities they bring.
Brian joined Tata Communications in January 2014. He has been instrumental in establishing Tata Communications as a disruptive force in the media and entertainment industries, through innovations such as the Media Ecosystem, a cloud-based next generation media services platform.
An industry veteran with a track record of growing businesses through organic initiatives, acquisitions and well executed go-to-market strategies in developed as well as emerging markets, Brian has previously held senior roles at Cisco Systems, Scientific-Atlanta, Siemens and Globecomm Systems.
Brian has a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering from the University of Central Florida and an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College. Brian moved from the US to London in 2014 and lives with his wife and two sons.
Christian has over 20 years of experience in international telecommunications, including 12 years with Teleglobe, which was acquired by VSNL in February 2006. Prior to his current role, he held a number of senior positions in sales, marketing and regulatory affairs and was a key member of the team that positioned Teleglobe in international markets.
Christian is a member of the Board of IP Interconnect Alliance (IPIA) and a member of Steering Committee of the i3 Forum, two global organisations of carriers and operators with the mandate to foster the transition to an IP environment. He is also a member of the Pacific Telecommunication Council (PTC) Advisory Council.
He holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in economics from the Université de Montréal.
Claude’s vast experience and keen understanding of the European market is core to Tata Communications’ global growth. He plays an important role in the global strategy initiatives taken by the company as it continues to expand its customer facing activity in key global markets.
Prior to joining Tata Communications, Claude was the Managing Director of Europe for Asia Netcom,
a pan-Asian telecommunication subsidiary of China Netcom. He has 20 years of sales management, business development and finance experience, with a significant background in the international telecommunications industry beginning with Sprint International (1993-1995), continuing with Global One (1996-1997), and extending to BCE Teleglobe (1998-2002), and Asia Netcom.
Claude is a graduate from the Ecole Superieure de Gestion in Paris and a qualified Chartered Accountant. He currently resides in Paris with his wife and two children.
With more than 20 years of experience in the telecoms industry, Conor has held many senior level business development roles across the globe, with specific focus on the emerging markets of Asia, India, Central and Eastern Europe.
Conor has also worked in leadership positions at Adobe Systems, Empower Interactive, Danger Inc., FirstMark Communications and Cable & Wireless.
Originally from Ireland, Conor earned his BSc degree from Trinity College in Dublin. Formerly in Singapore, he now lives in London with his wife and daughter. He is also an avid golfer.
With over fifteen years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Hans heads the strategy, planning and execution of Tata Communications’ sales approach in the region. He coordinates all marketing activities relevant to his footprint and drives the expansion of the company across large enterprise clients.
Prior to joining Tata Communications, Hans was Head of Sales and Marketing at Vanco / Reliance Globalcom where he worked for ten years. During his tenure, he was responsible for growing the managed services business across the blue chip customer community.
Previously, Hans was at Infonet Network Services (now part of BT) and held roles in sales and marketing for the enterprise sector.
Hans holds a degree in law from Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University in Frankfurt.
With nearly two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, Genius heads up the Tata Communications’ Global Network, Cloud and Data Center Service business which includes all network connectivity solutions, as well as Enterprise Cloud, Hosting and Security services. She is also responsible for the engineering and the global network partnership function for these business lines.
Prior to joining Tata Communications, Genius served as Vice President of Product Management and Development for Asia Netcom, where she was responsible for the development, launch and management of Asia Netcom’s entire portfolio of products and services for both the enterprise and carrier markets. She also played a crucial role in the development of Asia Netcom’s IP services platform as well as the formulation of complex solutions to meet the unique requirements of individual customers.
Genius previously served as the General Manager of Technology Support and Development for New T&T, a FTNS operator in Hong Kong. In this role, she played a key part in the start-up of the organisation. Genius also worked for IBM IGN where she was an instrumental player in establishing the company’s presence in Hong Kong.
Genius holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington in the United States.
He is accountable for the strategic vision and execution that delivers superior value, experience and performance across all customer and markets segments.
James has been in the high-tech industry for over two decades, spanning software and telecommunications in developed and emerging markets. He has a track record of building high-energy and high-performing leadership teams that have successfully delivered profitable growth through multiple technology and business transformations.
Before joining Tata Communications, James was Senior Vice President, Global Sales and Marketing for CenturyLink Business for Enterprise, driving the growth of the company’s cloud, hosting, co-location and consulting businesses. Before this, he spent more than 13 years at Microsoft – where he held a number of leadership roles focused on enterprise B2B sales in North America, Asia, and Europe.
James holds an MBA from the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management and lives in London with his wife and three daughters.
Jeff has more than 20 years of experience in the international telecoms industry and has held numerous senior level business development and product roles at both large carriers and start-ups. He has a strong background in incubating and managing global services for both enterprises and service providers.
Jeff began his career in telecommunications at AT&T Bell Laboratories as an engineer in international data services.
Jeff holds an MBA in General Management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
John Hayduk is the Corporate Operations Officer at Tata Communications, part of the $103.3 billion Tata Group of companies. He is responsible for strengthening the company’s execution capability, driving achievement of the company goals, and leading the implementation of the company’s strategic vision to create an open infrastructure, partner ecosystem and platforms for businesses to stay competitive in this digital age.
John has over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and began his career at Bell Communications Research as a Senior Engineer in 1990.
John then took his expertise to Telcordia Technologies, where he spent the next 10 years in various senior management positions. One of these was as Group Senior Vice President, Network Systems where he led a large scale software development team focused on development of high volume, real time transaction processing systems and operations support systems for telecommunications service providers. In his last role at Telcordia Technologies, John held the position of Group Senior Vice President, Wireless Product Management where he was charged with developing and growing a new business unit focused on operations software for new service introduction and service assurance solutions targeted at wireless service providers.
John earned his Masters of Science degree in Information Networking from Carnegie Mellon University and his undergraduate degree in Computer Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
She also leads the Innovation mandate for the company, working closely with the start-up ecosystems & academia as well as leading the internal entrepreneurship program at Tata Communications.
Julie is a member of the Advisory Board for the Tata Group Brand (Brand valued at $21.1 billion in 2014 by Brand Finance). She sits on the Big Data Advisory Board of The Boston Consulting Group, and is a member of the judging panel - TM Forum Excellence Awards. She is also a director on the Board of Directors for OneAccess, a privately held a provider of SDN based business solutions. Julie has also served as an advisor to leading analyst firm, Ovum, and the X-Prize Foundation - whose mission is to create radical breakthroughs in technology for the benefit of humanity.
Julie is passionate about the role of women in STEM and also the founder of Tata Communications' "Winning Mix" group, established to improve policies and programs to promote the professional development of women and other minorities at Tata Communications.
She is President of Woods-Moss Holdings, a company that specialises in venture development and has interest in a number of sectors, including cloud applications services and marketing sciences.
From 2012 to 2016, Julie was CEO of Global Nextgen business at Tata Communications with P&L responsibility for business with the “silicon valleys” around the globe. Under Julie’s leadership, the Global Nextgen business grew to nearly $1 billion in business under contract in under 3 years.
Julie brings more than 20 years of experience in senior executive roles in leading international corporations including IBM, UPC (part of Liberty Media group) and BT. In IBM, she served as the Director of Global Sales and Distribution for Mobile Solutions, Global Director of Marketing for IBM’s $40 billion Small & Medium Enterprise business, and Chief Operating Officer of Emerging Markets.
Returning to Europe in 2000, she joined UPC, Europe’s largest cable company as Vice President of Marketing. Julie was responsible for the Broadband business and tripled the European subscriber base in three years. She joined BT in 2004 and became Chief Marketing Officer and President of Strategy with responsibility for BT’s £5 billion solutions portfolio.
Julie was recognised in July 2016 by Economic Times Telecom as one of the “top ten women across the globe in the telecom and tech industry”. Julie is also on the list of Global Telecom Business' “50 women in to watch in Telecom sector in 2016”. She is also voted as one of Hot Topics' 100 most influential B2B marketers in Europe. She is a member of the Marketing 50 and was recognised in 2012 by Women of Inspiration & Enterprise as a member of the Global Power 50.
Julie has lived internationally since 1998, in Paris, New York, Amsterdam and Valencia, and is currently based in the UK.

Madhusudhan’s key focus at TCTS is to enhance business growth and build momentum for high growth around new and evolving technology services around wireless, NFV, SDN, Mobility services etc. He is also building state of the art professional services capabilities across the globe, including developing and integrating partnerships.
Prior to this role, Madhusudhan was the Chief Network Officer & Head, Customer Services and Operations at Tata Communications. He was responsible for supporting Global Carrier (Voice and Data) & Enterprise Services (Network and Managed) operations including Service Delivery, Service Assurance, Service Management, Field Operations, Facility Support, Complex Solutions support, Technology Operations and Infrastructure Management, Billing and Collections, etc.
Madhusudhan’s professional career spans over 29 years in Telecom and IT, with BPL, AT&T, Lucent & Tata Communications in various leadership roles across engineering, network operations and customer service. Madhusudhan has led the rollout and operations of GSM, CDMA, NGN & MPLS networks across the globe during his career. He has also been instrumental in building organisational capabilities to support new and complex solutions surrounding Telepresence, voice & video services for enterprises, media and entertainment solutions, data centre services and cloud services.
Madhusudhan holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Vishweshwarayya College of Engineering (UVCE) Bangalore, India
Mehul Kapadia heads up the F1® business for Tata Communications with end to end responsibility for the innovation, sales and marketing, for the F1 Ecosystem, which constitutes Formula One Management, racing teams and global broadcasters. Mehul also manages Product Marketing for Tata Communications in which he is responsible for delivering value propositions and thought leadership across the range of products and services of the company.
Prior to his current role, Mehul held various positions within Tata Communications including Head of Marketing and Strategy for the Small and Medium Enterprise Business in India, and Head of Sales and Marketing for the Retail Business Unit, which he helped set up. Whilst working for the Retail Business Unit, he played a key role in the acquisition and integration of various businesses for Tata Communications.
He has also served on the Board of Directors for the Wireless Broadband Alliance (WBA).
Mehul graduated as an engineer specialising in Electronics and Telecommunications, before completing a MBA in Marketing.
He has been the main driver of Tata Communications’ innovative and market-leading exchange-model strategy.
Peter has extensive experience in sales, channel management, business development and managed services across Asia Pacific. He began his career as the first employee for Dell Computer in India, helping to set up operations in Asia and opening a liaison office in New Delhi in 1994. He went on to work for Dell in Malaysia and later also helped to set up Gateway Computers in the region. Subsequently, he worked for 3Com and Getronics, and again with Dell where he was the Director of Managed Services, Asia Pacific & Japan before joining Tata Communications in 2007.
Peter is very interested in unified communications, South Asian history and Indo European languages.
Peter holds a Master of Arts degree in Asian Studies and an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin. He is fluent in Hindi and Urdu, having studied the languages in the US, India and Pakistan. In his spare time Peter enjoys reading, swimming and spending time with his wife and two girls.
Pratibha has over two decades of varied experience ranging from financial strategy, project financing, M&A, risk management, and legal and secretarial. Prior to joining Tata Communications, Pratibha was the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at NIIT Technologies where she led the Finance, Secretarial, Compliance, Regulatory, Legal, Secretarial and Investor Relations function for the group spanning across 24 subsidiaries and branches globally.
Pratibha was also the Chief Financial Officer at Barclays Shared Services Pvt. Ltd. (a subsidiary of Barclays Bank Plc) and Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer at GE-SBI Cards.
Pratibha has a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Shri Ram College of Commerce and is a Chartered Accountant from ICAI. She was recently awarded the CNBC TV18 ‘CFO of the Year’ - 2014 award under the ITSS category and has many more accolades to her credit, including the Business Today ‘Best Woman CFO Award’ – 2014 and the GE Chairman’s Excellence Award for three successive years (2004-2006). Pratibha was also included in the CFO100 League of Honour – 2015.
Pratibha is married with two children and an extended family of four canines. She is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys her morning walk, yoga and swimming.
In his role, Radwan has positioned Tata Communications as one of the leading telecommunications provider and partner in the region by creating several partnerships, initiatives and projects in various countries and verticals, including the submarine cable project in the Gulf region, IP regional JV Nodes, as well as MPLS, Ethernet, Video Connect, CDN, IZO and managed security services and nodes.
Radwan has over 25 years of telecom experience with emphasis in the Middle East & Africa region. Prior to his current position at Tata Communications, Radwan was Teleglobe’s Managing Director for the Middle East and North Africa, responsible for the company’s commercial and marketing activities in the MENA region. Teleglobe was acquired by Tata Communications in February 2006. At Teleglobe, Radwan played an important and essential role in creating and forming strategic partnerships with major local and regional carriers for IP and other value added services, which resulted in acquiring considerable market share in the region and positioned the company as one of the major players in the region.
Prior to Teleglobe, Radwan held senior positions at Sprint International, Global One and DEC (Digital Equipment Corp.) in the MENA region. He was also a member of the board of the Canadian Business Council in Abu Dhabi – UAE for several years.
Sanjeev is responsible for defining and delivering the business strategy and providing overall leadership for TCPSL’s operations in India.
Sanjeev joined TCPSL in February 2013, just when the company was embarking on its next phase of growth. With over 20 years of experience in banking, he has held a broad range of leadership positions across payments, retail banking, product management, marketing and sales.
Prior to TCPSL, Sanjeev was the Executive Vice President of HDFC Bank, responsible for top-line growth including direct banking channels and strategic initiatives. He was actively involved in transforming the channel business transformation from service to sales, scaling the ATM business by 200%. His experience was instrumental in synergising capabilities across large operations and manpower teams to significantly improve cost and operational efficiencies. Sanjeev has also been associated with leading organisations such as HSBC, ANZ Grindlays Asian Paints, Tata Motors and Thermax in the past.
He has been a member of influential forums such as the NPCI Steering Committee of National Financial Switch, Mobile Payments Forum of India and Interbank Mobile Payments System, all aimed at driving industry level policies.
Sanjeev was born in Bedford, United Kingdom and graduated in Electrical Engineering from the Government College of Engineering, Pune. He also holds a Masters in Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta; a top ranking Asian business school.
Srinivasan works closely with sales and business development teams to achieve revenue targets, develop the go-to-market strategy for the product line and collaborate with Data Centre engineering, operations and finance teams, to deliver and manage product capabilities.
With over 20 years of experience in the IT and telecoms industry, Srinivasan’s vast experience and industry knowledge has provided him with the right skills to handle services such as sales, business development and customer as well as CXO level interactions.
Srinivasan started his career with Citicorp Global Technology Infrastructure, after which he worked with Sify. He also worked at VSNL where he was responsible for engineering of Teleglobe and VSNL networks, IP Centre for Excellence and Managed Security Services. He went on to co-found 7strata IT Services Pvt. Ltd., a remote infrastructure management company, which was later acquired by Mindtree. He returned to Tata Communications in June 2010 in a leadership position in the data centres division.
Srinivasan has a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from University of Madras. He is currently based in Singapore.
Sumeet has more than 20 years of telecom experience and more than 10 years with the Tata Group. Prior to the Tata Group, he was a part of Hughes Telecom. At Tata Communications, Sumeet has been responsible for significantly growing the business over the years and has been instrumental in maintaining Tata Communications' leadership position in the enterprise data market in India. Over the past few years, Sumeet has also led Tata Communications' foray into next generation managed services and has been able to build a strong customer base for this portfolio in India.
In one of his earlier roles at Tata Communications as the Head of the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance vertical, Sumeet was instrumental in building a portfolio of specialised industry solutions for the banking Industry. This business is now an independent subsidiary named Tata Communications Banking InfraSolutions Limited and provides technology solutions like Managed ATM's, Managed POS and Hosted Core Banking to the banking industry.
Tim Sherwood is responsible for shaping and driving the company’s mobile broadband enablement strategy from concept to implementation. As part of his role, Tim works with the Sales, Marketing, Product Management and Services Evolution teams to evaluate, and bring to market, new business opportunities in the mobile broadband ecosystem.
Prior to his current role, Tim was Vice President of Market Development and Regional Alliances within the Global Voice Solutions business unit of Tata Communications. Here, Tim led the development and negotiation for the strategic sourcing and managed services initiatives, and was part of the team which secured the initial flagship strategic voice agreements with British Telecom and gotalk Australia.
Before that, Tim was the Director of Market Management in the Voice Commercial Operations team. In this role, Tim managed the voice trading platform, including functions such as pricing, routing, market analysis and deal governance for the company’s voice bilateral trading agreements. Tim was also part of the team that worked on the integration of the wholesale voice business when Tata Communications acquired Teleglobe in 2006. Tim has a B.A. in International Politics and Economics from Middlebury College, Vermont, in the US.
Tri has over 18 years of experience in the investment banking industry, focusing on the telecommunications, media and technology industries in Asia. He has advised many of the world’s leading IT and telecommunications companies and executed some of the largest mergers and acquisitions in the region.
Most recently, Tri was running his own consultancy, having moved from HSBC where he was a Managing Director looking after TMT, Asia Pacific, from 2008 to 2011.
Tri was also an Executive Director at ABN AMRO Bank from 2004 to 2008. During this time, he was co-head of TMT, Asia Pacific. He was also a Director at Merrill Lynch International from 1994 to 2003, where he was head of South East Asia TMT.
Tri holds a bachelors and Master’s degree in electrical engineering from the John Hopkins University and an MBA from the Wharton School. He is also a recipient of the prestigious Ford fellowship award.
